Q: How many years have you been designing and installing Christmas lights?
A: The Christmas Light Guys have been designing and installing lights for almost 2 decades.
Q: Does the Christmas decor carry liability insurance specific to Christmas decorating?
A: The Christmas Light guys are insured professionals that take safety for the clients and themselves very seriously.
Q: Will you install lights that we already own?
A: No, we cannot warranty the quality or workmanship of lights we do not provide. The Christmas light guys will only install products we provide. This is necessary for our insurance, as well as for consistency and quality. Our products far exceed anything store bought and quality is our number one priority.
Q: How much will it cost us to have our decorations installed and taken down?
A: Each installation is customized to the individual property, so the customer can invest as much as they want. For example, choosing incandescent or LED lights can alter the price immensely for the same number of bulbs. Each proposal is presented with a number of options to help you select a package that fits your needs. We can also help you build and expand your decorating package over time.
Q: What payment methods do you accept and when do I pay?
A: We happily accept cash, check, or major credit cards for our Christmas light installation services. Payment is due prior to or at time of installation.
Q: Is there a labor warranty in case the lights stop working or there is a problem?
A: Unlike most installation companies, maintenance is included in our price, so you can rest assured any problems will be quickly corrected. We also conduct proactive service visits throughout the holiday season to make sure your lights looks like just as perfect as the day we installed them.
Q: Is there a difference between your lights and the ones I can buy at my local retailer?
A: Absolutely! We purchase commercial grade, longer-life bulbs and socket strings. Our commercial grade timers are not available in stores. If you choose to purchase LEDS you will have a product that can only be purchased through commercial retailers, not your Walmarts or Home Depots. These are high-quality, custom retro fit bulbs.
Q: Do we need to be home for the installation?
A: No, you do not need to be home for exterior installations. Our trained installation crews are professional, safe, efficient and can complete your installation regardless of your availability.
Q: How early do you begin hanging Christmas lights?
A: We start installing Christmas lights each year as early as the first of October. Our lights are straight with concealed cords and hidden timers that keep them from being an eyesore.
